15 . ADJUST PROTRUSION OF GOVERNOR SHAFT
la)
Using calipers. m_ e asure the protrusion of the gover-
nor shaft.
Protrusion: 2.0 - 2.5 mm
1 0.079 - 0.098
in .I
If the protrusion is not within specification. adjust by tum- '
ing the governor shaft with an alien wrench.
NOTE: The governor shaft has LH threads.
(b) Using SST. install and torque the lock nut while hold-
ing the governor shaft with an alien wrench.

16. INSTALL PICKUP SENSOR
17 . INSTALL FUEL CUT SOLENOID
la) Install a new 0-ring on the fuel cut solenoid.
(bl Insert the valve and spring to the distributive head.
(cl Install the fuel cut solenoid.
(d) Connect the lead wire to the fule cut s9lenoid.
18 . IN STALL CONNECTING PIN TO GOVERNOR COVER
(CV)
Insert the connecting pin into the No. 1 guide bushing .
19. INSTALL CONTROL LEVER TO GOVERNOR COVER
(CV)
(al Install the control lever and support pin.
(bl Using an alien wrench, install the two bolts with the
gaskets.
