10. IF NECESSARY. REPLACE Oil SEAL
(al Using a wrench, pry out the oil seal.
(bl Apply MP grease to the lip of a new oil seal.
(cl Apply liquid sealer to the outer circumference of the
oil seal.
CAUTION:

Do not apply sealer to the lip of t he oil
(d) Using a socket wrench, drive in the oil seal until its
surface is flush with the pump housing .

1. INSTALL REGULATOR VALVE
Using SST . install and torque the regulato r valve.

2. IN STALL FEED PUMP
(a) Install the liner, rotor and four blades .

Check that the liner and blades are facing in the cor-
rect direction, as shown.

Check that the blades move smoothly.
(d) Install the pump cover with the two screws and
check that the rotor moves smoothly .
NOTE: Check that the fuel outlet h·ole of the cover is
aligned with the liner.
