Different the bushings are used fo r the intake and
exhaust.

Using a sharp 8 mm reamer, ream the valve guide
bushing to obtain t he specifie d clearance between
the bushing and new valve stem.
Standard oil cl earan ce:
Intake 0.020 - 0 .056 mm
(0.0008 - 0 .0022 in.)
Ex haust 0.036 - 0.070 mm
(0 .00 14 - 0.0028 In.)
11 . INSPECT AND GRIND VA LVES
(al Grind the valves only enough to remove pits and car-
bon.
lb) Check that the valves are ground to the correct valve
face angle.
Valve face angle: 44 .6°
le) Check the valve head margin thickness .
M ini mum margin thickness:
Intake 0 .9 mm {0 .035 in.)
Exhaust 1.0 mm (0.039 In.)
It the valve head margin thickness is less than minimum
replace the valve.
