5. INSPECT IMPEUER WHEEL ROTATION
(a) Disconnect the air cleaner hose.
(bl
Grasp the edge of the impeller wheel and tum it.
Check
that it
turns smoothly.
If it
does not tum or
if it turns with drag, replace the
tur-
bocharger assembly.
6 .
INSPECT RELIEF VALVE
Check the outside of
the
relief valve for excessive oil ooz-
ing.
If no oil oozing is found, the relief valve is okay.
If oil oozing is found, replace the relief valve and check
the
perfonnance. If there is no change in perfonnance. the
relief valve is okay.
