• If the pressure is low, adjust by lightly tapping the
regulato r valve piston while watching the pressure
gauge.
• If the pressure is too high or if the regulator valve was
tapped in too far. the regulator valve must be replaced.
MEASURE OVERFLOW VOLUME
Measure the overflow volume at the below listed rpm .

NOTE: Always use the overflow screw installed on the
pump to be adjusted.

RELEASE COLO STARTING SYSTEM FOR NEXT
INSPECTIONS (CM)

Using a screwdriver, tum the cold start lever counterclock-
wise and put a metal plate of 8 .5 - 1 0 mm (0.33 - 0.39
in.) in thickness between the lever and thermo wax.
NOTE: Keep the cold starting syst em released until all
measurements and adjustments are finished .
MEASURE AND ADJUST TIMER

Remove the timer cover.
lb) Install the timer measuring device .
(cl Set the timer measuring device at zero.
(d)
Measure the piston stroke at the below listed rpms.
