Procedures
1.
Select [Internet Options] from [Tools] on the menu bar.
2.
Click [LAN Settings] in the [Connections] tab.
3.
Specify either of the following under [Proxy server].
•Deselect [Use a proxy server for your LAN] check box
•Click [Advanced], enter the printer's IP address in [Exceptions], and then click [OK]
4.
Click [OK].
5.
Click [OK] in the [Internet Options] dialog box.

12.2.1 Status
Device information and status is displayed on the [Status] tab. There are two topics in this tab:
[General]
[Printer Information]
General
This page contains printer information such as the [Name], [IP Address], [Product Name], [Location],
[Contact Person] and [Status] of the printer. Messages displayed in [Status] are linked to the [Fault Status]
page.
A [Refresh Status] button is available for updating the latest printer status when it is clicked.
Printer Information
Displays the status of [Paper Tray], [Cover], and [Consumables].
Paper Tray
Displays the status of Paper Tray.
Paper Capacity
Ready or Running out of paper.
Cover
Displays the status of Cover.
Status
Open of Closed
Consumables
Displays the status and status icon for each consumable.
Status
Displays the statuses of the consumables.
When the consumables is Toner:
"n%"(n denotes 0, 25, 50, 75, 100): n% toner left
"No toner installed": Indicated toner is not installed
An image indicating the status is also displayed for each consumable.
