Properties
In the [Properties] tab, you can view and set properties of the printer. There are 8 topics in this tab:
[Machine Details]
[Machine Configuration]
[Counters]
[Internet Services Settings]
[Port Status]
[Port Settings]
[Protocol Settings]
[Control Panel Settings]
Procedures to navigate the [Properties] page are described below.
To Display Settings
Procedures
Select a topic on the left frame. If the topic is not displayed, click the [+] sign on the left of the folder
to reveal the hidden topic. Settings of that topic will be displayed on the right frame.
To Change Settings
Procedures
1. You can change the settings using drop-down menus, text boxes and check boxes in the page.
2. After changes are completed, click the [Apply New Settings] button at the bottom of the right
frame.
Settings made on Internet Services are transmitted to and made valid on the device.
Some settings require restarting the device in order to function properly.
When changing the setting items, the user name and password of the device administrator will
be requested. Enter the device administrator's ID and password specified in [Internet Services
Settings].
To cancel the settings made, click the [Restore Settings] button.
To display the current printer settings, click the [Refresh] button.
12.3.1 Machine Details
This page displays the product name. You can also configure the device name, location, contact person, and
administrator E-mail address.
Product Name
This is a display-only item.
Serial Number
This is a display-only item.
Name: (MAX. 32 x 1 byte characters)
Enter the name of the device. You can enter a maximum of 32 x 1 byte characters.
If the entry is more than 32 characters, extra characters will be deleted when settings are applied.
Location
Enter the location of the printer. You can enter a maximum of 32 x 1 byte characters.
If the entry is more than 32 characters, extra characters will be deleted when settings are applied.
Contact Person
Allows the user to enter the contact number, address and other information of the device administrator
and service center up to 32 x 1 byte characters.
If the entry is more than 32 characters, extra characters will be deleted when settings are applied.
Administrator E-mail Address
Enter the administrator E-mail address for CentreWare Internet Services with not more than 64 x 1 byte
characters.
