Caution
The above diagram (PNP output) is a reference wiring diagram for connecting an input device with PNP
output to the SmartAXIS source input. By installing an external resistor, an input device with PNP output can
be connected. When installing an external resistor, note the following points when wiring and checking the
operation.
When the external power supply voltage is 24V DC, an external resistor with a resistance value of 1kΩ and a rated voltage

of 2W or more (safety factor more than 3 times) is recommended. In this case, the current flowing through the external
resistor is as follows.


