Global Reset - General Information
Cameras with Rolling-Shutter sensor and enabled shutter mode GlobalReset, start all frame
lines simultaneously at exposure, however the end of exposure is delayed by the offset in the
previously read line. The exposure time for each line gradually lengthens. Data readout for each
line begins immediately at line exposure. Readout time for each line is the same, but times of
beginning and ending are staggered.
This shutter mode provides the benefit of reduced image artifacts that are typical for Rolling
Shutter. However, since exposure covers the entire image, brightness may gradually increase
from image top to bottom.
