REMOVING THE INFRARED (IR) BURNER & IGNITOR
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical
shock.
1.
Turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
2.
Remove the main oven door (see page 78 for the door
removal procedure).
3.
Remove the racks from the oven.
4.
Pull the range away from the wall so you can access the
rear panel and gas line to the range.
5.
Remove the griddle from the range (see page 54 for
the procedure).
6.
Remove the three screws from the island trim.

NOTE: The screw numbers may vary.
7.
Remove the six screws from the island back trim, and
lift the island back trim and the island trim up and off
the range.

8.
Disconnect the 9/16ʺ nut from the gas line at the IR
burner.
9.
Remove the two ceramic nuts from the wires and remove
the IR burner ignitor wires.
