REMOVING A FAN OR LIGHT SWITCH & A PILOT LIGHT
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical
shock.
1.
Turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
2.
Pull the burner and thermostat knobs off the control
shafts.
3.
48ʺ Models Only: Note that one of the valve panel bezel
screws is colored. Remove this colored bezel screw. Do
not remove any other bezel screws.

Remove the four torx screws from the left and right
sides (two on each side) of the valve panel.

GL & GD Models Only: Pull the drip pan out and place
a soft cloth on the drip pan to protect the valve panel
surface.
6.
Rotate the valve panel onto the drip pan (if present), or
on the oven door handle so you can access the com-
ponents.

To remove a pilot light:
a) Disconnect the two pilot light wire connectors
from the main harness connectors.
b) Hold the pilot light lens in place with one hand,
press down on the light body, and slide it off the
lens with the other.
