REMOVING A GRILL OR GRIDDLE SINGLE THERMAL VALVE

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical
shock.
1.
Turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
2.
Remove the grill burner from the range (see page 52
for the procedure).
3.
Remove the valve panel (see page 56 for the proce-
dure).

4.
Remove the two 9/16ʺ gas line nuts from the gas line
between the thermal valve and the manual valve, and
remove the gas line.
5.
Remove the two screws from the thermal valve brack-
et.

6.
Remove the two bracket screws from the manifold
plug or dual fl ow valve, (depending on the model), and
remove the plug/valve.
7.
Remove the two 5/16ʺ nuts from the thermal valve
bracket and remove the bracket from the thermal
valve.
