To change the CMS admin password:
1. When logged in as the admin account, click Config(
2. Under Old Password, enter the old password.
3. Under New Password and Confirm Password, enter the new password.
4. Click OK.

Adding User Accounts to the CMS

You can create multiple user accounts to the CMS with varying levels of access to the system.
These user accounts are only used for access to the CMS software and are separate from the
passwords on the individual NVR systems.
NOTE: To make sure users must enter their user name and password to access the CMS, you
must make sure Verify User is checked and Auto Login is unchecked in Config>Options. For
details, see "Configuring CMS Options" on page 53.
To add a user account to the CMS:
1. Click Config Manager>User Manage.
2. Click Add.
3. Configure the following:
• User: Enter the user name for the account.
• Password/Confirm: Enter the password for the account.
• Name/Sex/Information: (Optional) Enter descriptive details about the user account.
• Right: Check the permissions that will apply to the user account.
4. Click Save. Click OK to save changes.
