REASSEMBLE UPPER PISTON
A5.1 Reassemble piston onto the UPA by turning it down the auger shaft using a 3mm Allen wrench inserted into the
gear box of the UPA (bottom of the mounting plate)
TOOL: 3mm Allen wrench
PLEASE NOTE: Be sure the quick connect faces to the outside, or away from the motor
A5.2 Reattach sweeper arm to UPA
TIP: If the sweeper arm is diffi cult to reassemble to the UPA, run the piston down a few turns by
inserting a 3mm Allen wrench into the gear box of the UPA and manually moving the piston.

REMOVE LOWER PISTON O-RINGS
A6.1 Place the BGA on the counter (upside down) and remove the Lower Piston Assembly (LPA) by loosening the two
cotter pins, and gently pulling the sides of the BGA housing apart and pulling upward on the LPA.
TOOL: 3mm Allen wrench.
TIP: If necessary use a slight rocking motion to remove LPA from housing
A6.2 Remove the lower piston from the LPA by turning it up the auger shaft using a 3mm Allen wrench inserted into the
gear box of the of the LPA (bottom of the mounting plate)
