6.3 REPLACING BREW GROUP ASSEMBLY
REMOVE AND REPLACE THE BREW GROUP ASSEMBLY (BGA)
1 Turn off and unplug the machine
2 Remove the left and right side panels of machine
3 Disconnect the piston motors and brew chamber heating element power cables from the
motherboard
--> The connections are J2, J3 and J16 on the motherboard
4 Disconnect the Tefl on water deliver hoses from the upper and lower pistons
5 Loosen the 2 nuts located behind the BGA
6 Pull the BGA upwards to remove from the door
7 Put new or rebuilt BGA back into machine, be sure to connect all cables and hoses

6.4 DRAINING THE STEAM BOILER

STEPS TO DRAINING THE STEAM BOILER
1. Cool down the machine using the Cool Down function in the programming menu. (Service/Monitor/
Cool Down...)
2. Remove the center bolt located on the bottom of the steam boiler using a 17mm wrench.
PLEASE NOTE: If you disassemble the steam boiler you will need to replace the bottom gasket.
For all machines with serial numbers less than 407263 the gasket's part number is: 54930
For all machines with serial numbers greater than 407263 the gasket's part number is 100351.001
3. When res-assembling the boiler after draining, replace the gasket with a new one and follow these
steps:
3.1 Tighten all bolts y hand
3.2 Using a wrench turn all bolts one at time in order, clockwise 1/8 turn*
3.3 Repeat this process three times (3 x 1/8 turn)
*Tighten bolts a little at a time and work clockwise. If you over tighten one bolt too quickly it may cause
the boiler to leak.
