BREW GROUP ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM KEY
A Upper piston quick- connect fi tting. Connects incoming water from the hot water (coffee)
boiler to the brew chamber.
B
Bottom piston quick-connect fi tting. Delivers extracted espresso to the coffee outlet.
C
Allen bolts or cotter pins that hold the brew group together.
D
Piston motor. Drives the gear box.
E
Piston gear box. Drives the piston auger shaft.
F
Sweeper arm. Clears the coffee puck from the chamber area after brewing.
G Brewing chamber. Grounds are tamped and espresso extraction takes place in the brewing
chamber.
H Home position sensor arm. Notifi es the machines when the piston has reached it's home
piston.
I
Grounds slide guide. Guides the coffee puck to the ground drawer.
Note: The red highlighted areas represent the upper and lower pistons.
