6.6 PM GUIDE
1.
EMPTY STEAM BOILER AND TURN OFF MACHINE
1.1 Turn key to right and press the number 5 button display should read M_5: Heater Off.
1.2 Empty steam boiler by activating the steam wand until no steam comes out.
1.3 Turn off machine.

REMOVE AND REPLACE THE BREW GROUP ASSEMBLY (BGA)
2.1 Remove the left and right side panels of machine.
PLEASE NOTE: For PM TYPE 2 you will also need to remove the Back panel.
2.2 Disconnect the piston motors and brew chamber heating element power cables from the motherboard
--> The connections are J2, J3 and J16 on the motherboard.
2.3 Discount the Tefl on water deliver hoses from the upper and lower pistons.
2.4 Loosen the 2 nuts located behind the BGA.
2.5 Pull the BGA upwards to remove from the door.
2.6 Put new or rebuilt BGA back into machine, be sure to connect all cables and hoses.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a new or rebuilt BGA available please see use the alternative steps
on pages ? to ? for instructions on how to exchange the O-rings on site.

INSPECT GRINDERS AND CLEAN HOPPERS
3.1 Visually inspect grinders by removing hoppers and looking into grinders. Check for excessive coffee build-up
and clean if necessary.
3.2 Clean hoppers by emptying the beans and wiping all oily build up from hoppers using a clean dry cloth
NOTE: See operating instructions for more information.
4.
CLEAN ALL OUTLETS
4.1 Run the automatic daily coffee cleaning.
4.2 Clean steam wand by thoroughly wiping wand with clean wet cloth.
