7.10 Booting OpenVMS from a CD-ROM

This section shows how to boot OpenVMS from the CD-ROM
drive. The first step is to issue the show device command to de-
termine the mnemonic of the CD drive. This method of booting
OpenVMS replaces standalone backup.
