STANDARDS COMPLIANCE TESTS
3.1.
LABELS, INDICATORS AND WARNINGS
(1)
Check that the Certification, Identification, Place and Date of
Manufacture label on the Z-carriage is permanently affixed,
legible and readily accessible to view.
(2)
Check that the technique factors indicated on the Z-carriage
label on the column comply with the specifications.

3.2. TUBE CURRENT ACCURACY
The tube current is defined as the average value of the stationary
current which settles during the exposure.
The mA range is 3-15 mA, with steps of 1 mA.
The tube current accuracy is ± 7% (the accuracy of the instrument
used for the measurement is excluded).
The measuring method is by the feedback circuit of the converter
board.
The measurement procedure is the following:
(1)
Inhibit the movements during the exposure by selecting the
Free Exposure Service Program (see Section F of this Service
Manual).
(2)
Connect a multimeter to test points TP 16 (mA feedback
signal) and TP 20 (GND) of Converter board PQ 1.
(3)
Select V - DC on the multimeter.
(4)
Start the exposure selecting standard projection. After the
stabilization time (about 2 sec.), record the voltage readout
on the multimeter and stop the exposure.
(5)
Check that the tube current conforms to the specification.
The relation between mA and feedback signal on TP 16 is indicated
in the table below:
