5.11.2. Orthoralix 9200 DPI
(1)
Install on the Personal Computer (PC) ( that will be used as
workstation to receive images from the Orthoralix) the
application software VixWin, and follow the video
instructions.
(2)
Switch off the PC and install the DPI Acquisition board in a
free PCI slot (refer to the own manual of the PC to install
properly a new board in a free PCI slot).
(3)
Switch on the PC: it will recognize automatically the DPI
Acquisition board. Insert the CD Rom with the DPI ActiveX
diver and then the Mask File floppy disk (both are supplied
with the system).
(4)
To complete the software installation, insert the serial
number of the digital cassette (it is written on a label placed
on the external side of the digital cassette).
(5)
To connect the Orthoralix 9200 DPI to the DPI Acquisition
board an interconnecting cable of 10 m is supplied. Connect
the connecting cable to the DPI Acquisition board.
(6)
On the bottom right side of the column there is a connection
box: connect the cable coming from the DPI Acquisition as
shown in the figure below.
