The selected unit is only used for display purposes. The measured value is not converted
on the basis of the selected unit.
Distance-to-distance linearization is also possible, i.e. a linearization from the level
unit to another length unit. Select the Linear linearization mode for this purpose. To
specify the new level unit, select the Free text option in the Unit after linearization
parameter and enter the unit in the Free text parameter (→  153).
 Setup → Advanced setup → Linearization → Free text
