Non-recoverable (fatal)
Hard drive error messages are generally non-recoverable. These error
messages occur when data areas of the hard disk are damaged or fail. If
these error messages persist, call your Northern Telecom service
representative for hard disk replacement. Figure 6-1 is an example of a
non-recoverable hard disk error message.

Non-recoverable (fatal)
Some tape drive error messages can be classified as non-recoverable. These
error messages occur when the cassette tape or tape drive fails or is
damaged. If these error messages persist, call your Northern Telecom
service representative for a possible tape drive replacement. Figure 6-2 is
an example of a non-recoverable error message for a tape drive error.
