SIMPO Addressable Fire Alarm Panel – Maintenance Menus
The editable field is blinking. Use the up and down arrows to set the date and time. Use the left and right arrows to
switch over the editable fields.
IMPORTANT NOTES! The SIMPO panel is equipped with built-in battery for saving the set time and
date in case of main or back-up power supply lost. Put a jumper on JP7 terminals on the control
panel PCB to enable the built-in battery and saving the set time and date.

3.5.2 Setting Day/ Night Alarm Modes

In this submenu the technician has right to review the set Day/Night Schedule and change the day of the week when the
Schedule is applied.
To access the DAY/ NIGHT submenu, enter in menu - 6. GENERAL SETTING - 6.3) DAY/ NIGHT. The screen displays:

3.5.3 Panel General Settings

In this submenu the technician can make some adjustments for the panel performance.
To access the PANEL SETTINGS submenu, enter in menu - 6. GENERAL SETTING - 6.4) PANEL SETTINGS. The
screen displays:
(1) LANGUAGE - Press to set the language. Every
pressing of the button changes the currently used
language for the menus.
(2) + Brightness - Press to increase the brightness of the
screen back light. The maximum value is 20.
(3) - Brightness - Press to decrease the brightness of the
screen back light. The minimum value is 0.
(4) MORE >> - Press to switch to the options for
indication of Earth Fault, Battery and Buzzer troubles.
Press the functional button (2) to select the preferred alarm mode:
NIGHT - Select to set night time alarm mode. The devices will operate only in
night alarm mode.
DAY - Select to set daytime alarm level. The devices will operate only in day
alarm mode.
SCHEDULE - Select to set operation on a schedule. The devices will operate
on the programmed schedule.
The schedule is set in DAY/ NIGHT SCHEDULE submenu - press functional
button (4).
In DAY/ NIGHT SCHEDULE submenu the technician can change the day of
the week when the Schedule is applied.
(1) DAY CHANGE - Press to change the day of the week.
Confirm the settings with pressing ENTER button.
(1) Earth Fault - Press to enable/ disable the Earth Fault
indication. When the Earth Fault indication is enabled you
have to set a jumper to Earth Fault terminals on the control
panel PCB.
(2) BATTERY - Press to enable/ disable the Accumulator
Battery Fault Indication. When the Accumulator Battery
Fault Indication is enabled the panel will monitor the internal
battery resistance Ri. In normal operation Ri<0.3Ω. If
Ri>0.3Ω, the panel will alert for Battery fault with message
in Faults menu 'Battery High Resistance'. The installer has
to change the accumulator battery with new.
(3) BUZZER - Press to enable/ disable the buzzer
signalization.
(4) MORE >> - Press to switch to the options for trouble
indication from inputs In PC, In FP and In AmC on the
panel's PCB.
