3.2. Zones Menu

This menu allows the technician to review and change the status of every zone. In the 'ZONES' menus the technician
can test and enable/ disable the zones. Up to 48 zone numbers are available for settings. The currently edited zone
number is blinking.
The screen displays the current status of every zone with its name (if entered). The selected zone number is blinking.

3.2.1 General Submenus

From the main screen of ZONES menu use the functional digit buttons for direct entry to: (1) GO TO and (2) DEV. VIEW
submenus.
Submenu (1) GO TO. Enter the zone number you want to go. After pressing the button, the screen displays:
Submenu (2) DEV. VIEW. The submenu shows information about the total number of the devices in the
respective zone. From the main screen of ZONES menu, select a zone number and press button (2). A detailed
list with address and name of the respective devices is displayed also. The screen displays information about
the total number of the devices in the selected zone regardless of their current state.

3.2.2 Zones Testing

From the main screen of ZONES menu, select a zone number using the up and down arrow buttons and press button (3)
TEST.
During the test mode the technician activates detectors in the zone (applies heat or smoke to the fire detectors and/or
activates the call points) to check their proper operation. The panel confirms the receiving of fire alarm messages with
short sound signals and the number of the tested zone is blinking. Note: During testing zones 17-48 will blink the LED
'Test' only!
To stop the zone test, press the (3) 'STOP TEST' functional button and then select button (2) THIS to stop the test in the
currently selected zone or button (3) ALL to stop all running zone tests. The zone(s) will return to normal operation
mode.
After completing the zone testing, reset the panel.
Description of the zone status:
NORMAL – The zone is in normal operation state.
DISABLED – The zone is disabled.
TEST – The zone is in test mode.
FIRE – A device in the zone is in fire.
PRE ALARM – The zone is in preliminary alarm mode.
FAULT – Trouble in the zone – lost device, broken circuit, etc.
Use up and down arrows to select zone number. Confirm with
'ENTER' button. The system will automatically go back to the main
screen of ZONES menu as the number of the zone is blinking.
Use the arrow buttons to review the list of all devices associated to the
zone.
The system will ask for confirmation whether to run the test only for the
selected zone number (button (2) THIS) or for all zones in the system
(button (3) ALL).
The zone(s) status is changed to TEST mode. The LED 'Test' is
lighting on permanently.
