Table 129. +MIPOPEN Parameters

<Parameter>
Socket ID
A unique number that identifies a connection (provided by
the terminal application).

1,2,3,4 Valid socket number
Source Port
Air network GPRS/GSM (provided by the terminal
application)
Port range 0-FFFF (hexadecimal digits)
Destination IP
IP of the destination site in the format AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD.
The range of each octant is 0-255. The value can be
written in 1, 2, or 3 digits.
Destination Port
Port of destination site.
Port range: 0-65535 (decimal digits)
Protocol
Type of protocol stack.

Motorola does not recommend using port numbers below 1024. These numbers are defined to be reserved for
operating systems.
