Microstream CO
The accuracy validation for the Microstream CO
measurement results are not accurate.
It is recommended to use 5% gas for calibration and the microstream filter line.
NOTE
 Required Equipment

Calibration gas canister ( 5% CO2 medical)
•
Gas valve and tubing
•
Sample elbow or tee

function is performed once a year or when the

(1) Connect the tube provided with the gas for
calibration to the gas barrel, and then connect it
to the filter line. Attach the gas/tube to the
V1410 / V1412 microstream port.
(2) Push the Menu button one time, select
EtCO2  Calibration  CO2 and then select
CAS: 5.0%.
(3) Push the button on the 5% canister for
calibration to deliver the mixed gas.
(4) Push Menu button one time and select
EtCO2  Calibration  Calibration  ON.
(5) Check that the EtCO2 wave screen displays
"Calibration is in process. "
(6) When calibration is finished, remove the gas
tube.
(7) If a "CALIBRATION OK" message displays
on the screen after removing the gas tube, it is
properly done.
