Respiration signals may be distorted due to radiated electromagnetic interference from an
ESU or other electromagnetic devices. Should this occur, try repositioning the ESU further
away or investigate with the manufacturer the possibility of utilizing a higher rated shielded
CAUTION
cable.
Respiration is measured with the ECG and HR etc., using the ECG cable.
To set up apnea alarm, press the Menu button and select ALARM  RESP 
APNEA.
- APNEA Setting Range: OFF, 10 – 40 seconds (every 5 seconds)
Note
If an EtCO2 signal is detected by the monitor, the Respiration Rate will be determined
and displayed via the EtCO2 data as a priority over ECG respiration data.

Changing the Respiration Waveform

To change the speed of respiration waveform, press the Menu button one time and select

RESP  SPEED.
Mode settings are described in the following table:

To change the gain of the respiration waveform, press
the Menu button one time, and select RESP  SIZE.
Description
Set the size of RESP waveform.
Set the speed of RESP waveform.
Set the display of the waveform.
