Verifying system information backup or restore

System information, such as chassis type, serial number, and manufacturing
data, is stored in the Chassis FRU ROM on the power distribution board. To
avoid loss of system information when replacing the power distribution board, a
backup copy of the data is automatically stored in the system board ID
EPROM. After replacing the power distribution board, the backup data is
restored from the system board to the new power distribution board
automatically.
In order to verify whether the restore process has been successful, check the
System Event Log (SEL), see
(SEL)" on page
91.
When using the Infrastructure Manager, please refer to the following
manuals about backup and restore function of system information.
