8. Canceling Scanning

(1) Canceling a Scan Job Before Setting the Document
If "Ready to scan." is shown in the scanner's message display, press
the Enter key to end the scanning procedure. The message display
will return to the initial mode.
(2) Canceling a Scan Job During Scanning
If "Scanning" is shown in the scanner's message display, press the
Stop/Clear key. The image data for the document currently being
scanned will be deleted and "Ready to scan." will appear in the
message display. Scanning will begin again once a document is set.
If "Ready to scan." is shown in the scanner's message display, press
the Enter key to end the scanning procedure. The scanner's
message display will return to the initial mode.
