3. Making a Test Print

(1) Making a test print from the scanner's operation
panel
Perform this procedure in order to send a test print command from
the scanner's operation panel.
NOTE
In order to make a test print, you must set 8 1/2" x 11" paper on the
manual feed table.
1 Press the * / Language key.
2 Use the N and M cursor keys to move the arrow (e) to
"Default set/manager".
3 Press the Enter key.
4 Use the numeric keys to enter your PIN code. (The factory
default code is "4850".)
Use the N and M cursor keys to move the arrow (e) to

"Printer setting".
6 Press the Enter key.
7 Use the N and M cursor keys to move the arrow (e) to
"Test print".
8 Press the Enter key. "Add paper in bypass." will be
displayed.
9 Set 8 1/2" x 11" (length-wise) or larger size paper on the
manual feed table. A test print will be made automatically.

NOTE
Making a test print from the Web Manager interface
It is possible to use an Internet Web browser in a client computer in
order to access the Web Manager interface and print out a list of
setting information.
