CHAPTER 10 OPERATING A PRINTER WITH THE KM-

1. Sending Print Commands

(1) Procedure

Perform this procedure in order to send print commands from your
computer and print using a printer with the KM-S4850w installed.
1 Turn the main switch to the printer ON ( | ).
Warm-up will begin and "Ready to copy." in the scanner
display will be displayed once warm-up is complete.
2 Make sure that the Printer Data / On-line indicator is lit.

3 Perform the appropriate printing procedure in your
computer.

NOTES
• Refer to the Functions Edition (On-Line Manual) for more detailed
information on printing from your computer.
• Even if you perform the appropriate printing procedure in your
computer, there are cases when printing will not be accomplished
immediately, such as if a copying operation has just been
completed at the Printer or during Interrupt copying.
4 If you want to feed paper manually, set the paper to be
printed onto on the manual feed table.
