4.4 Protection Function

This series power supplies provide the following protection functions. You can
set these functions in the Protect menu.

4.4.1 Set the Setting Value Limit Protection

To avoid causing damage to the DUT, after you set the U-Max, U-Min, the set-
ting value from the [V-set] key on the front panel can't exceed the setting limit.
The operation steps are as follows.
1. Press [Shift]+[Esc] (Protect) to enter Protect menu interface.
2. Use left and right keys or rotate the knob to select U-Max, U-Min, and press

4. Press [Esc] to exit the protection menu setting.

The maximum output voltage setting value (U-Max), the minimum output
voltage setting value (U-Min), these functions limit the setting value of the
output voltage from front panel.
Over-voltage protection, over-current protection, over-power protection, and
over-temperature protection, these functions disable the output to protect
the device under test (DUT), as well as the power supply.
