MAINTENANCE
GENERAL INFORMATION, REPLACING PARTS
Read and understand this manual prior to operating and/or maintaining this equipment. Failure to
follow all safety precautions may result in property damage, serious injury or death.
Maintenance
General Information
Only qualified personnel should complete all maintenance and inspection operations.
Prior to all maintenance or inspection operations ensure that:
1. The attachment is resting on the ground and is correctly supported.
2. The correct personal protective equipment is worn.
3. The area is well ventilated.
4. Correct cleaning agents are used. Never use flammable solvents to clean the
attachment.
5. Machine lockout procedures are followed to prevent accidental machine start up.
6. The battery is disconnected.
7. The wheels are chocked and the park brake is engaged.
The WBM attachment has several pinch points. Stay clear of all possible pinch points and always
support components. Failure to do so may result in property damage, serious injury or death.
If a component fails, the attachment will perform unexpectedly. All worn components or missing
parts must be replaced prior to any and all operation of the attachment. The attachment must
be regularly maintained and inspected. Failure to inspect and maintain the grapple may result in
property damage, serious injury or death.
Replacing Parts
When a part starts to wear and needs replacing, replace all related wear parts.
Noticeable wear on one part is a good indication of wear on other parts. Replacing
parts early can prevent accidents, downtime and large incident repair costs.
