Maintenance
General Information
Only qualified personnel should complete all maintenance and inspection operations.
Prior to all maintenance or inspection operations ensure that:
1. The attachment is resting on the ground and is correctly supported.
2. The correct personal protective equipment is worn.
3. The area is well ventilated.
4. Proper cleaning agents are used. Never use flammable solvents to clean the
attachment.
5. Machine lockout procedures are followed to prevent accidental machine start up.
6. The battery is disconnected.
7. The wheels are chocked.
The WBM attachment, linkage and body contain several pinch points. Stay clear when in
operation. Correctly support the attachment before performing maintenance or inspections.
Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
If a component fails, the grapple will perform unexpectedly. All worn components or missing parts
must be replaced prior to any and all operation of the attachment. The grapple must be regularly
maintained and inspected. Check the grapple for signs of damage on: pins, bolts, hoses, wiring
and components. Failure to inspect and maintain the grapple may result in property damage,
serious injury or death.
