Operation outside the permissible environmental conditions and op-
erating states shortens the intervals. The service life of consum-
ables may be shortened depending on the mechanical dynamics
due to mounted devices and movements.
We have provided you with a list of maintenance work and intervals
for the associated components below. The intervals are based on
the total operating time of the system and not on the operating time
of individual components. The data apply to laboratory conditions
and a relative humidity of 50 % at 25 °C.

Visual inspection of the coil cores for abrasion
Visual inspection of the sensor surfaces for abrasion
Check the fastening of the modules to the machine bed
Maintenance
Check the guide rollers for wear and breakouts
Check the magnetic plates for abrasion and damage
Check encoder flag for tight fit
Check that the encoder flag is not rubbing against the
module sensors
Check whether the brush exists
Check that the brush is firmly seated
Check whether the distance between the brush and the
guide rail is less than 1 mm.
Check that the air gap between the suspension strut
and the mover housing is at least 0.1 mm
