Push away locking lever
and position the shift drum locating unit @.

The flat areas of the shift drum locating unit are not
symmetric.

Relieve tension from the locking lever.

Mount and tighten screw (D.

Slide shift shaft with the washer into the bearing seat.

Push sliding plate away from the shift drum locating unit.
Insert the shift shaft all the way.

Let sliding plate engage in the shift drum locating unit.

Shift through the transmission.

Slide on starter idler gear
case.

Slide on the disk. Mount the lock ring.

Position the washer.

Slide on torque limiter
the washer.

Loctite
