On some transmissions, a cover is present above the engaging
lever.
The cover protects against contamination.
Tightening torque securing bolts: 8 Nm

is removed
N - Neutral
R - Reverse gear
When the reverse gear is en‐
gaged, the extended tappet of
the mechatronics is hooked on
the gearbox housing.
Therefore, the mechatronics
must be put into the removal
position by hand
