▶ Remove the two screws from the SAS expander board (see circles).

▶ Get the SAS expander board out of the two connectors of the HDD
backplane and remove it.
CAUTION
▶
Lift up the SAS expander board while removing it in order to
prevent the components to be damaged by the stand-offs (see A
in Figure

▶ Pull the HDD backplane upward until the six hooks disengage (see circles).
▶ Take out the HDD backplane.
