
ACPI Sleep State [S3 (Suspend to RAM)]
Use the ACPI Sleep State option to specify the sleep state the system enters when it is
not being used.


5.3.2 CPU Configuration

Use the CPU Configuration menu (BIOS Menu 4) to view detailed CPU specifications
and configure the CPU.
[S3 (Suspend to R...)]
Stop The system enters S1(POS) sleep state. The
system appears off. The CPU is stopped; RAM is
refreshed; the system is running in a low power
mode.
D The caches are flushed and the CPU is powered
EFAULT
off. Power to the RAM is maintained. The
computer returns slower to a working state, but
more power is saved.
