5.6 Security

Use the Security menu (BIOS Menu 24) to set system and user passwords.

Main Advanced
Password Description
If ONLY the Administrator's password is set,
then this only limits access to Setup and is
only asked for when entering Setup
If ONLY the User's password is set, then this
is a power on password and must be entered to
boot or enter Setup. In Setup the User will
have Administrator rights.
The password length must be:
Minimum length
Maximum length
Administrator Password
User Password

Administrator Password
Use the Administrator Password to set or change a administrator password.

User Password
Use the User Password to set or change a user password.

5.7 Exit

Use the Exit menu (BIOS Menu 25) to load default BIOS values, optimal failsafe values
and to save configuration changes.
