6.5.1 Programming Special S4

Untested sterilisation cycle
Sterilisation values may differ from those typical of conventional sterilisation cycles.
▶ Use conventional test instruments to check values,
Note
Only the Ready LED, and not the Sterilize LED, will light up at the end of the cycle.
This indicates that the effectiveness of the cycle used by the user has not been
approved by the manufacturer.
Setting the temperature
▶ Hold down the Set button.
▶ Press 4.
"SET TEMP" will appear on the display.
▶ Press 1 or 2 to set the temperature.
Setting range: 121°C to 135°C
Setting the time
▶ Press the Set button to set the time.
"SET TIME" will appear on the display.
▶ Press 1 or 2 to set the time.
Setting range: 3 minutes to 30 minutes
Setting the vacuum phase and drying time
▶ Press the Set button.
"VAC" or "DRY" will appear on the display.
▶ Press 1 to select vacuum phase 2, 3 or 4.
"VAC" and the selected phase will appear on the display.
▶ Press 2 to set the drying time. You can select from the following options: 2 + 1
minutes, 4 + 2 minutes or 6 + 3 minutes.
"DRY" and the selected drying phase will appear on the display.
▶ Press the Set button to revert to operation.
The values set for temperature, vacuum, drying and time are saved.
