6.2 Switching the STERIclave B on and running a self-diagnosis

6.2 Switching the STERIclave B on and running a self-diagnosis
Note
To abort self-diagnosis, simply press any button immediately after switching the
STERIclave on.
▶ Press the Power button and wait a few seconds for self-diagnosis to run auto‐
matically.
During self-diagnosis, the parameters and the components tested will appear on the
display.
If the result of the test is positive, "CARD GOOD" will appear on the display.
The completion of self-diagnosis is indicated by the appearance of the following
values on the display:
Display time: Current time of day
Display pressure: Current pressure, setpoint = 0
Temperature display: Current temperature
Note
Errors are indicated on the display and saved to memory.

Note
An indication of the water quality will appear at the end of self-diagnosis.
"H2O good" indicates good water quality. If "H2O hard" appears, the water quality
is below the permissible range, and the fresh water needs changing.
Please note:
The water quality can only be measured when the chamber surface temperature is
cold (< 36°C). The measurement must occur in the first minute of operation of the
STERIclave B.
A poor measurement (H

possible.
