Connectors

The RF connector and various others interface connectors are on the front panel.
I/Q
BNC connectors for input of external I/Q signals for analog modulation. The sig-
nals are fed directly into the I/Q modulator.
USB
There are two female USB (universal serial bus) connectors of type A (host USB)
on the front panel. You can connect, for example, a keyboard, a mouse or a USB
memory stick.
Further USB connectors of type A (host USB) and USB type B (USB In) are avail-
able on the rear panel.

Sensor
Connector for R&S NRP sensors.
A power sensor is connected to the R&S SMM100A by inserting the male con-
nector. To disconnect, pull the connector by its sleeve. You cannot disconnect the
sensor simply by pulling at the cable or the rear part of the connector.
The R&S SMM100A supports the use of R&S NRP power sensors in various
ways including the use as a power viewer.

Assigned functions
Toggles between the active dialogs
Adjusts the size of the active dialog to use the whole height of
the display.
Closes all kinds of dialog boxes, if the edit mode is not active.
Quits the edit mode, if the edit mode is active. In dialog boxes
that contain a "Cancel" button it activates that button.
For "Edit" dialog boxes the following mechanism is used:
If data entry has been started, it retains the original value
and closes the dialog box.
If data entry has not been started or has been completed, it
closes the dialog box.
