•
Install the chain shoe and the chain
guide shoe, fastening with the relative
screws.
•
Install the chain complete with timing
sprocket, fitting the chain and sprocket
onto the camshaft.
•
Turn the crankshaft in the direction of
rotation of the engine (towards front) to
bring the piston of cylinder 1 (left hand
rear piston) to TDC in the valve overlap
position.
•
rotate the crankshaft 150° in the engine
rotation direction (direction of travel).
•
insert the respective pin, from the fly-
wheel side, into the groove on the
crankshaft.

•
Reposition the sprocket on the cam-
shaft with timing hole and the hole for
the fastener screw of the sprocket
aligned with the slot in the sprocket.
•
Insert the specific timing pin.
