4.2.6 Changing the water

For the best washing results, it is important to change the water in the washing
tank often. For normally soiled loads, the washing water should be changed after
around 30 washes. Always change the water in the event of foam problems in the
tank.
If IF09 appears on the display, this indicates that the water should be changed.

N.B.! The hood must be open while the drain pump is running and the button P1
(6) is used to start and stop the drain pump.

Check that the machine is in P0 mode.
Open the hood. On machines with automatic hood lift, the hood is opened/
closed with the button (5).
Remove the tank filter and cover plates (21) and clean them.
Empty the machine by turning the level pipe (19) anticlockwise.
When the tank is empty, turn the level pipe (19) clockwise and refit the tank
filters and cover plates (21).
Close the hood (on machines with automatic hood lift, the hood is opened/
closed with the button (5)) and the machine is refilled.
Check that the final rinse symbol (2) is lit.
Check that the machine is in P0 mode.
Open the hood. On machines with automatic hood lift, the hood is opened/
closed with the button (5).
Press the 0/1 button (9).
Remove the tank filter, cover plates (21), level pipe (19) and drain filter (15),
and clean them.
Press (P1 (6) to start the drain pump. "dP" appears on the display (1). The
display (4) shows the remaining run time for the drain pump.
When the tank is empty, refit the level pipe (19), tank filters, cover plates
(21) and drain filter (15).
Press the 0/1 button (9).
Close the hood (on machines with automatic hood lift, the hood is opened/
closed with the button (5)) and the machine is refilled.
Check that the final rinse symbol (2) is lit.
