SECTION 2 SPECIFICATIONS

2.3.4 OUTPUT CONTROL

Digital outputs are ± 15 VDC, positive logic.
The UPC sends the following control signals to the power source on J3:
NAME
3Φ - CMD
1Φ - CMD
CONNECTOR - CMD
EXT SENSE - CMD
XFMR CPLD - CMD
OUTPUT ON -CMD

2.3.5 OUTPUT CONFIRMATIONS

Digital inputs are ± 15 VDC, positive logic.
The power source sends the following control signals to the UPC on J3:
NAME
CONNECTOR - CONF
SHUTDOWN - CONF
3Φ ON - CONF
1Φ ON - CONF
XFMR CPLD - CONF

1Φ output form command
NOTE: If both 3Φ and 1Φ are false, the form is 2Φ
Verify UPC is connected to power source. Also drives audible
beeper in the power source
External metering command
Transformer coupled output command
Close output relay command
FUNCTION
Verify UPC is connected to power source
(loops back to the CONNECTOR – CMD connection)
Power source shutdown confirmation
3Φ output relay is closed
1Φ output relay is closed
Transformer coupled output confirmation
