Sample gas inlet pipe

Only a carefully designed and implemented analyzer system guarantees fault-free and low-
maintenance measurements with good results. The gas preparation positioned upstream of
the analyzer contributes to the quality of the measurement in the same manner as the gas
analyzer itself.
The sample gas is supplied to the SIPROCESS UV600 via the sample gas inlet on the
enclosure (see connection
The sample gas must be free from dust and aerosols prior to entry into the analyzer.. The
dew point of the sample gas must be below the ambient temperature. When using a sample
gas cooler, the dew point must be higher than the set cooler temperature.
In most applications, components for sample gas conditioning are required in addition to the
analyzer. The following devices are usually located upstream of the sample gas inlet of the
SIPROCESS UV600:
● Gas sampling unit
● Sample gas cooler
● Filter
● Sample gas pump
Additional components may also be required depending on the composition of the sample
gas, for example washbottles, additional filters, pressure reducers etc.
We explicitly recommend the installation of a fine dust filter in the sample gas line which
reliably filters out dust particles of >2 µm.
Corrosive components which could attack the used materials must not be connected to the
SIPROCESS UV600. They must be removed from the sample gas by appropriate measures
prior to entry into the analyzer.
