Electrical

Illumination does not turn on when the illumination on/off button is turned on.
Problems
The AC adapter is not connected to the microscope
main body.
No electrical power.
Flickering or unstable illumination brightness
Problems
The AC adapter or power cord is not correctly
connected.
Brightness of the illumination changes when objectives are switched.
Problems
The light intensity management function is turned on.
Illumination turns off when left idle (no operations are performed) for a certain period.
Problems
ECO mode is on.
Objective information not shown on the display, or incorrect information displayed
Problems
Information on the objective is not set.
Information on the objective is not updated.
Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Check Items
Insert the DC plug of the AC adapter into the DC input
connector.
Insert the power cord connected with the AC adapter
into an electrical outlet.

Connect correctly.
Check Items
To prevent the brightness from changing automatically,
turn off light intensity management.
Check Items
Operate controls such as the illumination on/off button,
the brightness control knob, and the nosepiece.
To prevent illumination from turning off automatically,
turn off ECO mode.
In the settings, change how long to wait before
entering sleep mode.
