Problems
Lamp does not light
when switched on.
Lamp flickers.
Unstable brightness.
Nosepiece does not turn
when nosepiece rotation
button is pressed. (On
LV150A only.)
The nosepiece does not
rotate correctly. The
objective stops in an
intermediate position
and it returns to its
original position. (On
LV150A only)
Cause
Power is not supplied.
Power cord is not connected to
microscope.
Cable of lamphouse is not connected to
the connector on microscope.
No lamp is installed.
Lamp is blown.
Specified lamp is not used.
Lamp is about to blow.
Power cord, or cable of lamphouse, is
not connected securely.
Lamp is not securely inserted in the
socket.
Lamphouse is not connected securely.
Signal cable is not connected.
You attempted to turn nosepiece
directly from address #1 to #5.
Attached objectives are small in
number and attached in an eccentric
way.
VI. Troubleshooting
Countermeasures
Plug the power cord into an outlet.
Connect the power cord.
Connect the cable.
Install the lamp.
Replace the lamp.
Use the specified lamp (see "VIII.
Specifications.")
Replace the lamp.
Connect it securely.
Insert it securely.
Connect it securely.
Connect it securely.
Nosepiece cannot be rotated directly
from address #1 to #5. Turn the
nosepiece in the progressively
ascending order of magnification.
Retry the rotation some times. It can
stop in the correct position after some
