Nosepiece

Nosepiece
When switching the objective,
turn the turret on the nosepiece.
• Turning the turret clockwise:
Move to the next address on
the nosepiece.
• Turning the turret
counterclockwise:
Move back to the previous
address on the nosepiece.

the difference in thickness

Displaying the applicable microscopy
To perform each of Ph, DIC, IMSI, and NAMC microscopy, an objective applicable for the microscopy must
be used. An objective intended for a specific microscopy has a code which indicates the relationship of the
applicable type of microscopy and optical elements.
• Ph objective: Indicates a Ph code (PhL, Ph1 to Ph4) and the properties of a phase ring (DLL, DL, DM,
BM, ADL, and ADH).
• DIC/IMSI objective: Indicates the letter of DIC or IMSI and the applicable type of prism (N1, N2, and
NR).
• NAMC objective: Indicates a NAMC code (NAMC1 to NAMC3).
